Job description:

The Java person needs to be very proficient in modifying existing SQL and Java code.  He/she will be tasked with modifying existing web services that read/write databases using the DAO and DTO design patterns, for use by the .NET team.

 

Required expert-level skills:  Java 5 (including generics and annotations), Eclipse, SVN, SOAP-based web services and related technologies (JAX*, WS-*), JDBC (hand-written), JUnit, SOAP UI, ANT, JBoss, SQL (MSSQL and Oracle), ability to work with pre-existing code.

Nice-to-have skills:  Apache CXF or Axis 2, Continuous Integration (e.g., Hudson), Design Patterns (DAO, DTO, Façade, Bridge, Singleton), Application Servers other than JBoss

 

1. 5 years of Java 5 development experience (including generics and annotations)
