USA Africa Dialogue Series - Shell signs mammoth Iraq gas flaring contract – What about Nigeria?

The question is why hasn't Nigeria secured a similar deal all these
years when uncountable billions of dollars worth of gas has been
continuously flared, with flames several metres high, licking the
sky?

This waste of precious gas beggars understanding....
